    Team names

In reviewing the board at the top it is apparent that if a team wants to win a state title it is beneficial to have "cats" in the name, preferably preceded by "wild", but "bear" and "bob" are adequate.

lol, I noticed that. All those cats, a cow, a dog, a snake and whatever the heck a "Yoeman" is.

I can more or less answer that as my father was one. The school is named after the founder, C.L. Yoe. They then took the name and made them Yoeman, which has had a variety of meaning over the centuries but the most recent and the probable use in this case is a small, independent farmer.
