I just don't see how it's possible. If MD wins next weekend they will play the winner of SJB / CC. That game vs the Braves or Huskies would be their second "risk game" of the year. If they win that the Open Bowl could be vs a one loss dls or a one loss Folsom / St Mary's. Just not very impressive this year.

BTW tell Consuela to pick up the phone when Gorman calls MD.

St. Louis knocked off Kahuku in the state finals last night 30-14. Calpreps hasn't posted that game yet but what a train wreck their top 25 is currently.

While I agree that BG is #1 you could poke holes in the three teams you mentioned that they beat.Cedar Hill isn't what they were hyped up to be.STA lost to a not very good BTW.If SJB loses to CC that would be their 3rd on the year.

Gorman has been under the microscope all year long and is still there at #1. It's time to put MD under that same harsh scrutiny. MD muddled past SJB. After that who have they beat? Nobody worthwhile. If MD scrapes by either SJB or CC that won't be impressive. Bottom line MD does not have a better schedule than Gorman to date. And won't have a better SOS at the end of the year if they win out.

It seems like a three horse race between Biship Gorman, IMG, and Mater Dei. I don't care who wins it, but I hope this HSFB national showcase can involve a Georgia school next month. Supposedly held in Texas at the Cowboys new practice facility

I would agree about the The Bishop.Not sure about IMG.MD may face Centennial in the Southern Section D1 final then I will have a more informed opinion.If Mater Dei runs Mission Viejo,Centennial/SJB and the not cal rep some pubs will have them 1

I have been arguing all year about the favorable rankings TX teams have been receiving in spite of a down year at the top.

Do you know what zip code poll is? Texas is benefiting from this polling methodology.
