Carter Mahaney’s bank shot with two seconds left lifted host Campolindo-Moraga to a thrilling, 100-98 double-overtime victory over Clayton Valley-Concord on Tuesday night, handing the No. 7 Ugly Eagles their first loss of the season.
Mahaney’s frenzied dash downcourt came after Clayton Valley’s Garrett Pascoe made two free throws to tie the game. Pascoe scored a game-high 49 points on a parade of three-point shots and pull-up jumpers.
