Live Oak comes from behind, beats Sacred Heart Cathedral in CCS Division 3

Cole Davis kept hitting the hole and, in the second half, the hole was always there.

The Live Oak-Morgan Hill running back ran for 200 of his 258 yards after halftime to lead the Acorns to a come-from-behind 28-21 win over Sacred Heart Cathedral at Kezar Stadium on a chilly Friday night in the first round of the Central Coast Section Division 3 playoffs.

Live Oak advances to face top-seeded Half Moon Bay next weekend.

The Acorns (7-4) were dominated in the first half, but trailed just 14-7 at the break. In the second half, they turned to Davis, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound senior.
