    Cooper girls prepare for Canyon

The Cooper Lady Cougars are rolling as they get ready for their first playoff appearance since 2015.
Head coach Lauren Ash's team is riding a three-game winning streak, but that streak is going to be tested on Monday.
The Lady Cougars draw state power Canyon.
The Lady Eagles won four straight state championships, and eleven since 2000.
So, do they Lady Cougars relish this chance or are they a little nervous?
Cheyenne Sherwood said, "I mean it's definitely somewhat intimidating but the only thing we can do is go out there and give it our best, so that's really all that matters."
Head coach Lauren Ash said, "We know they're a great team, we know that they're a great ball club, our plan of attack right now has pretty much been the same thing that we've had all season, come in every day, try to progress in the areas we need to progress in, and really look to attack every single day so that's what we're doing right now."
That challenge is coming up on Monday night.
The Lady Cougars take on Canyon on Monday night at Lubbock Christian University at 6 p.m.
