Search for head coach continues in Bangs

The search for a new head football coach and athletic director continues in Bangs.
The Dragons are getting a lot of interest in the position.
Superintendent Tony Truelove told BCH Sports 130 applications were sent in for the job.
He said 50 of those are or were head coaches.
The range of applicants goes from 6-man to Class 6A.
The school's screening committee meets on Friday, and interviews will start at soon as February 1st.
Truelove says he hopes to hire the new head coach by the school board meeting on February 19.
The new coach replaces Jim Bird, who was 2-27 in three seasons in Bangs.
