Eula's Fostel joins 400 win club

The Eula Pirates are one of the most consistent winners in the Big Country over the last 25 years, and head coach Josh Fostel is the man sailing the Pirate's ship over the last 15 years.
Fostel just won games number 400 and 401 of his career.
It's been a good run, and many wins are expected for the Eula head coach.
Fostel said, "It's a nice accomplishment but it's more of a team thing. I've been really lucky to be at a good place that has a good set up for a long time, I've had lots of really good players. About 99% of the time the team with the best players win, the coach isn't really important, so it's been my luck that I've been at a place where I had better players a lot of the time."
Joe Ramos said, "It feels really good. Coach Fostel's a great coach, he pushes us hours on end, his 400th win was a big thing for us."
Colby Tucker said, "It's a privilege, it just proves he knows what he's talking about, we need to buy in what he's saying."
Fostel and his team are 5-0 in district play and ranked 18th in Class A by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.
They continue the season on Friday at Santa Anna.
