    Mustangs' comeback win shows fight

Head coach Ben McGehee and Sweetwater Mustangs advanced to this round thanks to a come from behind victory over Vernon last week.
They trailed by two touchdowns but woke up and posted a 4-point victory.
It wasn't the plan going in, but it was good to see the fight and determination of this team.
Kobe Clark said, "It showed a lot, because we've never really come from behind and won like that so I think that just showed everybody that we have a lot of heart."
Ben McGehee said, "It shows a lot about our leadership. We've got a few seniors, not a ton of them that had experience playing all the way until the final game last year, but the ones that did have really stepped up and led this football team. I think their leadership is really what carried us on there in the late 3rd and 4th quarter."
Mason Maxwell said, "I think we learned a lot about ourselves. I think we learned about our determination, it was pretty good that game, and I think we learned that we're a fighting team so you can't count us out."
The Mustangs take on third ranked Graham at ACU tomorrow night at 7.
