    Cooper dominates Lubbock High, 62-7

The Cooper Cougars scored three on their first five offensive plays of the game, and rolled to an easy 62-7 victory over the Lubbock High Westerners.
It started with Tyrees Whitfield. He took the hand off 45 yards for the touchdown. That was a sign of what was going to happen all night.
Whitfield added 3 more rushing touchdowns in the game for the Cougars.
Ender Freeman was sharp out of the gate, too. He threw a 76-yard touchdown pass to Daelin Campos, a 30-yard touchdown pass to Myller Royals, and he added a 1-yard touchdown run for good measure. That was all in the first half.
Defensively, the Cougars intercepted three passes, two by K.J. Kelly.
The Cougars roll to victory to improve to 2-1 in district play.
They continue the season next week in San Angelo against Lake View.
