Wylie beats Brownwood in 3OT, Snyder wins

Wylie and Brownwood matched up at Bulldog Stadium to kick off District 3-4A play, and it was back-and-forth from the start.
The Lions scored the first TD of the game when Tommy Bowden connected with Patrick Nash in the end zone to bring Brownwood up 7-0.
But Wylie would retaliate on their next drive. Sam King found Hayden Keidl downfield to tie it up at 7. The Bulldogs and Lions would go into the half tied 14-14.
It seemed these teams would be destined to stay tied. Brownwood kicked a field goal as time expired to tie it at 31 and force overtime.
Both teams would fail to score, and we head into double OT. But no worries, because both teams would score again to make it 38 all, and force triple overtime.
Wylie took advantage of Brownwood's missed field goal, as Cason Grant would score the game-winning TD.
The Bulldogs win in triple OT 45-38. Wylie starts district 1-0, Brownwood falls to 0-1.
