Wylie's run game was strong against Brownfield

The Wylie Bulldogs got things back on track on Friday night with an impressive victory over the Brownfield Cubs.
That victory snapped the teams first 2-game losing streak since 2010.
The running game helped power to the 50-7 win.
Brady Horn and Bailey Hicks combined for almost 300 yards of the team total of 383.
Head coach Hugh Sandifer wants to run the football, and his team got it done last week.
Hugh Sandifer said, "I think they responded a little bit with a little better blocking up front, and then you know we had two backs that got out in the open field and made some nice runs and then our receivers blocked for them when they were in the open field and turned some 10 and 20 yard gains into some 50 and 60 and even an 80 yard touchdown run."
Brady Horn said, "It's always the offensive line, you know we looked at the film and they only had three men up front, so we put a few plays in that worked well with what they were running, and we executed really well."
The Bulldogs are open this week, the first of two open dates this year.
They start district play on the 13th against Brownwood.
