    Cowboys Farewell To Valley Ranch

The final day of the Dallas Cowboys minicamp is also the last team practice at their long time home, Valley Ranch.

After 31 years, the Cowboys are moving northeast to their new home, The Star, in Frisco.

The history over Valley Ranch is not lost on head coach Jason Garrett, and he made sure his players understand.

"What I told our team this morning in our team meeting was, this is a really special place. For the last 31 years some of the greatest coaches, greatest players and greatest teams ever assembled, the National Football League worked here, and the standard they set is high. What we try to do as coaches and players is embrace that standard everyday, and that's what we're going to try to do today with this practice. It's going to be the last minicamp practice of the 2016 season. It's also going to be the last practice here at Valley Ranch, and we're going to do everything we can as players and coaches to live up to the standard that's been set before us by all the great ones who have come through these doors," said Garrett.

The Star is quite the looker with a twelve thousand seat dome stadium and a members-only club adjacent to the practice facility.

The new complex won't open until August.

Until then, the Dallas Cowboys head to Oxnard, California on July 28th for training while opening ceremonies begin July 30th.
