The Stamford Bulldogs fell 9-0 to Beckville Wednesday morning during the Class 2A Semi-Finals.
The game was 0-0 going into the bottom of fourth, but Beckville broke through the scoreless ballgame with the help of three walks and two hits.
A bases clearing double put the Bearcats ahead 4-0 going into the fifth.
The Bearcats added five more runs to their lead in the sixth inning off of two walks, two erros and three hits.
In the top of the seventh, the Bulldogs managed to get a runner on with only one out, but ran into a double play to end the game 9-0.
The Bulldogs season is over, while the Bearcats will go onto to play in the Class 2A State Championships.
