I would certainly, but was working off the D1 schedule on ESPN. I really want to get to a home Army game, and perhaps another smaller school in the NE in the fall.

Looking at my list, although the matchups may not epic this year I think I have a great cross between all time rivalries, great stadiums and some places I'd want to see.

    All Time Rivalries
    Army-Navy
    Texas-ou
    Georgia-Florida
    Michigan-tOSU

    Great Stadiums
    Autzen - Oregon
    The Coliseum
    Tiger Stadium - LSU
    Bryant Denny - Alabama
    Notre Dame
    Beaver Stadium - Penn State
    Camp Randall - Wisconsin
    Memorial Stadium - Nebraska
    The Big House - Michigan

    Places I want to see
    Rice-Eccles - Utah
    Boise St
    LaVell Edwards - BYU
    Sun Bowl - UTEP
    Folsom Field - Colorado

A couple of those I left on there struck through(didn't come through, so I put them in <<<<brackets>>>>). In one case it was head one direction or the other, the other was kind of a toss up game.

Would like to fit a game at West Point on there, but don't see how that really works as part of a year long road trip. Like to see a game at Neyland, and Clemson but hey that's what next year is for.

Tell me what you think and poke holes.

That would make for some great trips. I like how you kept it regional for the most part of the season. Going from the west to middle to southeast back to Midwest.
Would you ever have any desire in seeing a 1-AA or D-2-3 type of game?

For the first week and maybe last week we should do that since it will be multiple games in a short window. Would you want to take the Citation or Gulf Stream?

So on Thursday night one would be able to do either TCU at Minnesots or take in Harbough and Michigan at Utah. Drive all day Friday to arrive in Dallas for Alabama vs Wisconsin and then head east to Virginia for Ohio State at Va Tech on Monday night?

I'm in but it's going to take me a bit of time. Cost will not be a hindrance but want to make it somewhat realistic, i.e. not going to do a Hawaii and Miami the next day. Not going to give a lot away but think I'll spend the first part in the NW.

Let's do this based on this years schedule

On that first Thursday night we have Michigan at Utah or TCU at Minnesota?

I would vote the TCU at Minnesota game

Pied, would you like to include Thursday games in this?

Since money or time is not a factor in this I think we should

started a topic College football road trip

    College football road trip

Let's say money wasn't an issue and you had an entire fall to do a college football road trip of your choice, which stadiums would be on your list?

For me I would take an RV and start off at either the Cowboys Classic or chick fil a classic and then in no particular order I would want to visit

    Ohio St
    Wisconsin
    Penn St
    Washington
    Oregon
    Texas vs OU
    Notes Dame
    Michigan
    Mt Union
    Nebraska
    Ole Miss
    Iron Bowl
    Sec championship game
    Army/Navy

    Then the Rose bowl

    What about yall?
