At least it'll be the loudest Katy fans. Maybe there will be a decent local turnout from people just wanting to see these two teams finally go at it.

I hope we have a good turn out. This will be our first non-district game outside of Houston since 2010.

I'm not worried about the defense at all. I've been watching Katy for 13 seasons and I can only think of one or two playoff games where the loss was on the defense.

There was a point last season to where the Defense SCORED more points on the year than they gave up

Any of these two players from Germany?

Katy needs more of these young, talented underclassmen for the OL.

What about Manvel's QB? Do you consider him an athletic QB?

    Uh-oh.

Anyone from DFW, besides Farmer, want to address this?

Katy will destroy 7Lakes, 7Lakes doesn't have a chance. They lost way too much on defense and they don't have a QB that can throw, one dementional offense Katy will eat up! Cinco is the only team with a chance and a slim chance at that. Cinco's defense will be very good and they have an athletic QB that can throw, athletic QB'S always give Katy issues. The Cinco Katy game will be the best game of the district. If Cinco can gain some momentum early they have a chance to be in the game in the 4th quarter, but it's Cinco so it ain't gonna happen.

It's only natural from a fans perspective to want to change things up a bit from time to time. I know watching Trinity games over the years the offense would become so predictable to me anyway. I could sit up there and knowing the down and distance and other situational factors, I would literally be able to predict what play they were about to run. On the rare chance they did something unpredictable and it worked, it was like a god send. Ip even if the result would have likely been the same, I was happier seeing something different than the same ole same ole.

Yes I've heard of it, and that's be the knock on most Katy RB's going to the next level. Many say "anyone could run behind that Katy line, in that system", Porter has the disadvantage of playing behind perhaps the best two RB's to come through Katy. Also, KaDarius Page and Kevon Copeland will be names known around the state soon.

Can Kyle Porter carry the torch? There have been rumblings on social media that Katy has "Lost their stud RB" so it could be a changing of the guard in Region 3. The same rumblings that happened when Aundre Dean graduated....then Donovon Young....then Adam Taylor.......Can Porter keep the ground game moving? I even spoke with the great KT2000 and he told me to expect a few new wrinkles in the Katy offense to fit the talent they have. Can Porter be the next great one?
