NRG Stadium to do away with grass field...effective immediately

Maybe its has something to do with protecting NFL players. Several have complained about it, several have been hurt and a couple have filed lawsuits.

They have been using artificial turf a couple of years for High School and College games.

My emphasis was 10 games in three days (UIL Championships).

Edit: I went to Mary's in Strawn for my first time Friday after reading Wallar's and your writeups. I had the CFS. GOOD food!

Even the Kansas City Chiefs complained about the grass field at NRG.

Could be a factor come playoff time and in the future. NRG stayed away from some games when the Texans were home because they would have to pull up the turf and lay out the grass.....
