Some Astros fans using superstitions for wild-card game

Superstitions are about as old as baseball itself.

It could be anything that happens before a win or loss that should be repeated or avoided

"Oh, fits amazing," Astros fan Adam Campbell said after finding a postseason hoodie.

But in a game like baseball, a sudden wardrobe change could upset everything for the superstitious.

"Not changing you're clothes, you're wearing the same clothes even though they're dirty," Campbell said. "Gotta have the routine. If it's going well, going good, wherever you're sitting watching the game, (you) gotta stay there. (You) can't move."

But not all fans believe in superstition.

Kimberly Augustine believes in the Astros without any good-luck habits.

"We've got a winning team," Augustine said. "I think they'll go all the way."
