Since 1980, now 36 years ago, ten different franchises have won a championship which is, yes, one third of the league (Lakers, Celtics, 76ers, Pistons, Bulls, Rockets, Spurs, Heat, Mavs, Warriors). Anyone who tells you that getting a ring is something you have a good, reasonable, or even anything more than entirely negligible chance at with a smart strategy - either by tanking or not tanking - are liars without the courage to face reality.
