Jonah White, Kevin Yeager sign to Division I programs

Merkel's Jonah White and De Leon's Kevin Yeager made their college decisions official today on the early National Signing Day.
The Merkel star put his name on the dotted line to go to Baylor and play football for the Bears.
White had a great career for the Badgers, but he's excited to get to Waco.
"The coaches and stuff came down a couple times, maybe three times in the past two weeks to come see me," Jonah White said.
"I had a good time, with all the players and stuff there, they were all nice and welcoming and the coaches when we went to the visit, they would talk to me about it, I believe in them, I know they believe in me, I'm just thankful I got the opportunity to play for them at the next level."
White rushed for 2,920 yards and 37 touchdowns in 2018. He graduates in May.
De Leon quarterback Kevin Yeager followed through on his commitment to Incarnate Word.
The Bearcats senior threw for 3,277 yards and 33 touchdowns in 2018.
Yeager finished his career 8th all-time in the state of Texas in passing yards with 11,978.
He is 7th all-time in touchdown passes with 139.
