    Lady Bulldogs like new system

The Wylie Lady Bulldogs are coming off a couple of wins and getting ready to start district play. This year's Wylie team is a little different than teams we've seen in the past.
Different mainly in their game plan. Head coach Kurt Richardson changed it this year to focus a lot more on a faster tempo. It's much different than the strong post play we're used to seeing, but the girls like the change.
Julia Lovelace said, "We've enjoyed it so far, and it's led to some success, and I think we just like playing that style anyways, and coach's normal style. The past few years on varsity we haven't played like that."
Lauren Fulenwider said, "It's more guard based, so what that means basically is that we're going to run more. Run faster, it's a faster paced game."
Kurt Richardson said, "Playing a little faster paced. Shooting a little more from the outside, trying to press a little bit so it's been very different, and the girls have done a great job with adjusting to a different style. I think they kind of enjoy it actually."
The Lady Bulldogs are scheduled to host Frenship tomorrow afternoon at 1:30.
