    Warren's Wisdom: Struggling Cowboys

David Robinett said, "Well, we're going to continue to talk about the Dallas Cowboys here in Warren's Wisdom. Former Abilene High head coach Steve Warren joins me, he's also a Cowboys fan. It's tough to watch them, right now. They are not very good."
Steve Warren said, "They really are not. They're not very good. They're not playing well together. They are injured. That's not an excuse because they've got 53 men on the roster making millions of dollars, so they ought to be pretty good. They have an owner every chance he gets he's sticking his face on the front page, which has got to be a distraction. There are a lot of things going on around them that are not helping them win football games."
David Robinett said, "Offensive line really seems to be a problem because if they could block, they could hang onto the ball longer which would help the defense be better. How do you fix this?"
Warren said, "What made them so good last year was that those five guys up front were together most of the year. Two of them disappeared to other teams this year. They are down to about the third left tackle this year, so they lost 60-80 percent. There's a lot of moving parts there."
Robinett said, "We'll see how they do. The Cowboys play again on Thanksgiving. They'll be taking on the Chargers Thursday afternoon."
