It's that time again for the Silver Star Nation keys to the Cowboys game, this one's Sunday against the 6-2 Kansas City Chiefs. You probably can guess what that first key is going to be, and you're right, stop the run.
The Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt leads the league with 763 yards rushing. The Chiefs have the number 3 offense of the National Football League. When I asked Rod Marinelli what's going to be the key to stop this high powered offense, he said stop the run. So that's going to be one of our keys.
The second key is: no turnovers. The Kansas City Chiefs are a +10 in the turnover differential in the National Football League. They have 13 takeaways. The Cowboys need not give them a short field by turning over the ball, especially with that offense.
And the third key is: better score some points. The Chiefs are a high scoring offense, not only do they gain yards, they score a heck of a lot of points. So if the Cowboys want to make sure they don't get left behind, they need to score points, need to score touchdowns.
