The Abilene High Eagles snapped their losing streak and won their first district game 30-7 over Weatherford.
The Eagles started out hot from the get go when Andrew Ezzell connected with Raekwon Millsap who put the Eagles on the two yard line. Head coach Del Van Cox said last week that they need to get the ball to Rae more, and the did on Friday.
Rae was in the Wildcat several times, and scored the first touchdown of the game.
Weatherford did answer right away, but the Eagles started rolling and the defense held the Roos to just the one touchdown.
Rae scored the second touchdown of the game again from the Wildcat to put the Eagles up 17-7.
The Eagles led 23-7 at halftime, and then added another in the second half.
Abilene High moves to 1-3 in district heading into their bye week.
