    Freeman toughed out allergic reaction

Tough isn't the word usually used to describe quarterbacks.
You can use it to describe Cooper's Ender Freeman, though.
Freeman was sick late last week, and he had a reaction to his medicine on Friday.
    He didn't care.
He played against Lubbock Cooper, anyway.
Freeman threw for 276 yards and four touchdown passes in a must win game for Cooper.
It's impressive but not unexpected by his teammates.
Myller Royals said, "I was like, I don't know how this happened, it was just random, and he was like well I'm still playing no matter what, so I was like if you're playing that's fine with us, so went ahead and did the job and got the job done. For him to still play and go out there and play the way that he did was incredible, and so I have much respect for him for that."
Justin Wright said, "We can always expect the same thing from Ender, you know he's a great quarterback and being a rookie to the starting role this year, he's done a great job, and I didn't have any doubt in his performance."
The Cougars continue district play against Lubbock High on Thursday night up in Lubbock.
The Cougars are undefeated against the Westerners in five games.
