    Warren's Wisdom:Watson impacting Texans

David Robinett said, "It is time for Warren's Wisdom, again. We are going to shift gears a little bit and go to the NFL and talk about Deshaun Watson. The Houston Texans thought, maybe, they had a quarterback when they drafted because they traded up to get him. He has proven to be better than advertised, unless you are Dabo Swinney, who said, 'this guy's Michael Jordan.' Impressions of the way he's played."
Steve Warren said, "Should've listened to Dabo. He coached the guy. He knew all of the intangibles. Everybody could see the talent. It just drives me crazy when professional coaches say we need to ease them into the process. You don't do that in high school. You don't do that in college. If they're ready to play, they're ready to play. They jumped up really high in the draft to get him. The expectation was there that he was a great quarterback, and he's not proved any different than that."
Robinett said, "This is the second straight year in the state of Texas that we've had a quarteback do that. Dak Prescott was a little big of a surprise. Watson's supposed to be doing this, though."
Warren said, "He is. The difference there is that you had a proven quarterback in Tony Romo. Had he not been hurt, we would probably still be talking about Dak as the back up. Low and behold, it didn't happen that way. When Deshaun got drafted, the expectation was that Deshaun is our guy. Nobody really thought that about Dak until now. Both of them are great quarterbacks."
Robinett said, "The NFL season will continue later on this week."
