Head coach Del Van Cox and his team are still looking for win number one in district 3-6A. They are 0-2, but the playoffs are still a real possibility.
The Eagles need three wins in their final four games of the season, and the next three opponents have a combined six wins. It all has to start with Keller Central on Friday.
AHS head coach Del Van Cox said, "We're going to have to earn it. Our kids can because they've been preparing themselves every week, and they've had good attitudes. They know they've got a good shot. We're excited about the opportunity we have, and our kids are ready for the challenge."
The Eagles and Keller Central meet at Shotwell Stadium on Friday night. The Chargers are 1-0 in district play.
