    Grant's experience helps Bulldog offense

The Wylie Bulldogs welcomed Lubbock Monterey Plainsmen to town in Week 2, and they were very rude hosts. Running back Cason Grant led the charge in the Bulldogs victory.

He rushed for 170 yards and found the end zone two times. This is Grant's third year on varsity and that experience is showing.

Hugh Sandifer said, "He's been on teams that played in semi finals. He played on a team in the finals, so he's got a lot of experience, so that does nothing but give you confidence. Definitely Cason is a lot more mature as far as experience has led to that."

Cason Grant said, "I think it helps a lot. Especially having people, I mean there's a bunch of people who have been on varsity for 2-3 years, and that definitely adds a confidence level just being used to the speed of the game, but I think it helps maturity wise and leadership wise."

Grant and the Bulldogs go on the road this week to Denison. That game will start at 7:30.
