Eagles fall to Midland Lee 49-14

The Abilene High Eagles were looking for their first win of the season Friday night out in Midland against Midland Lee, but the offense couldn't get going.

The Eagles have won 8 of the last 10 meetings, and they got it going first.

Abilene High did score a touchdown to tie the game up 14-14, but it was called back. A little bit of a momentum shift in the wrong way for the Eagles. After that, the Rebels scored a huge 80-yard touchdown run to give them the lead 21-7.

The Eagles scored again before the half courtesy of Andrew Ezzell to Raekwon Millap to make it a one touchdown game at the half, but then it went downhill for Abilene High/

The Eagles start the season 0-2 after falling to Lee 49-14.
