The Abilene High Eagles might be young this season, but their home opener didn't show how young.
Even though the Eagles fell to longtime rivals San Angelo Central 42-28, there's a lot to look forward to in this inexperienced team.
AHS started out slow, and fell behind 22-0 to the Bobcats at the half.
But they picked it up in the second half, scoring four touchdowns.
The Eagles travel to Midland next week to take on Midland Lee.
