    High expectations at ACHS

The Abilene Christian High School Panthers are coming off a few rough seasons, but they are hoping that changes this year.
This is Jim Holloway's first season leading the Panthers, and he's given the players a great deal of confidence.
Holloway was greeted at ACHS with sixteen returning lettermen and every starter but one is back.
It's an experienced team, and they love their new coach.
Jason Massey said, "He is super experienced, it's like, he's taught me things that I've never learned about football. Like even just as a kid, certain fundamentals he's just taught us."
Jace Usrey said, "Oh he's awesome. He's very experienced, very knowledgable of the game. He's very understanding with obviously mess ups that happen, but he's really hard on making sure we do everthing perfect to the t."
Grant Wade said, "He's got a lot of knowledge that he brings to this team, and he's a great spiritual leader, and that really helps us and all of our understanding."
The Panthers open the season on Saturday against Weatherford Christian.
It's the final game of the Champions Classic and can be seen live on Bigcountryhomepage.com.
