Mandrell Returns To Snyder To Lead Alma Mater

The Snyder ISD school board approved the hiring of Denison offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Cory Mandrell on Wednesday, and Mandrell accepted the offer later in the afternoon.

Mandrell worked for former Snyder head coach Chad Rogers in Denison, and he's a graduate of Snyder High School.

As the offensive coordinator in Denison, Mandrell's offense scored 37 points-a-game in 2015.

He takes over in Snyder for former coach James Polk.

Polk left to be the head coach at Gainesville High School.
