My Lame Observations From the Lancaster Game:

    1. In my opinion, one of J. Wilson's best games in his Trojan career. Finished off runs. Made yards when there wasn't much there.
    2. I know I make fun of Natee's passing ability, but the throw he made to Winesteer for the TD was about as perfect a throw as you can make. Nice catch, too.
    3. I like the new uniforms.
    4. Penalties. More Penalties. Still more penalties. They will be our undoing in the end.
    5. I think Justus Gregg played a great game.
    6. Lancaster killed us all day with the short passing game. We never figured out how to stop it. In fact, it was rare when we had a player within five yards of the receiver when he caught it. I don't understand why this happens over and over.....

Yes it was. I can watch him run the football all day long. It's a mini-Peterson running style and he even says that's who he looks up to. Hands down my favorite RB to watch in the area along with little Nick Smith of Martin. But they're two totally different styles but equally fun to watch.

Lancaster is a real nice team. Highly ranked for a reason. I20 speed every where but 183 Strength was too much.

Harrah has already rushed for 4 Td's and passed for 2 more in the first 3 games for the Jv that plays at 5.. There is no doubt he will be ready to compete next year for the Varsity Qb job I think that since this Xavier bradly kid is a junior they are sticking him with the Jv team with alot of Juniors to see if hes ready to compete next year for the starting position. If you havn't got to watch Toby play yet this year the next 2 games will be at pennington at 5:00. Hes clearly the most exciting kid on the field and the best passing Qb Trinity has on the team right now as a sophmore. You can check out his videos on You tube!

Pro Trinity, but not overly homeristic at all. They won't go crazy when something really good or really bad happens.

There were not many plays where they throw the ball in the air and some players try to catch it in their hands and run at the same time. But there were many times when a player would be handed the ball by another player and then would run really fast until someone knocked them down and they landed on the ground.

From the looks of it, we probably could have sent out the JV team and they would have competed well with them. It's hard to get a team up for an opponent they know they will beat.

Who is the next expected challenge on Trinity's schedule? Or is it a pretty straight run until the playoffs? For their 2nd game did Trinity open up the offense more and was there much improvement from game one? As for DLS I don't think their was much if any improvement from game 1 to game 2.
    Rockwall @ Trinity, 9/4/2015
That should be the link to the Trinity vs. Rockwall game last Friday.

DPaul is right. It was a sloppy game.

As as for the next challenge. Next week (this thread) vs. 5A Lancaster. Good 5A team, but not much of a challenge. The next week is against North Shore (from the Greater Houston Area), That may prove to be the biggest regular season challenge. They are the type of team that is capable of beating ANYONE (Allen, Trinity, Katy, Cedar Hill etc...) if they are not taken seriously. Down the road we have a district game vs. Southlake Carroll, but it's a home game for us this year. On the road vs. Coppell, but they are not the Coppell of a few years back when they were a top 15 statewide team. So realistically there are probably two MAYBE three games we COULD lose if we don't have our best effort.

We do have about half the regular season games audio streamed (Internet Radio if you will). This week's game will be stream. Check out championsportsradio.com/trinity-trojans/ for all our audio game broadcast.
