Cooper Looks Forward To Aledo Challenge

The Cooper Cougars are going to be at Shotwell Stadium tomorrow afternoon against top-ranked Aledo.

These two teams meet in the third round in 2015 with the Bearcats coming out on top 33-0 on a rain soaked night in Aledo.

This is a new year, but head coach Todd Moebes says his team has to be ready to play.

Todd Moebes, "I think their excited. It's hard not to be as a competitive. When you are through to round three of the playoffs, that's exciting in itself. Being able to face the number one team in the state is exciting. There are challenges all across the board, and certainly brings out the best in competitors. It's every competitors dream. It's an opportuniuty to want to face the best to be able to play in round three, to be able to play into December and that's what it's all about."

This is just the second meeting between the two scores.

The Cooper Cougars and Aledo Bearcats play on Friday at 1 p.m.
